Say x = 0.99999999999999.......
Thus, 10x = 9.9999999999999.....
If we deduct 9 from 10x, [ 10x - 9 = 0.9999999......]
which is equal to x
In short, 10x - 9 = x
AND [ x = 1 ]
but if you refer to the first premise, x is equal to 0.99999.....
Conclusion:
0.999999....... equals 1 (not approximate)
Amazing stuff huh?.....
I guess my brain is going crazy before midterms tomorrow.
